protein and supplements

Do you consume protein (powder, bar) or other supplements?

If not, why not?

I used to do whey protein after a workout. Now I have milk protein intolerance and not only is there no whey protein in my life, there is also no milk, cheese, ice cream etc. I wish I hadn't done it...I already have a problem with soy protein, so I can't take that either.

I don't take other supplements other than what my doctors prescribe for migraine prevention.

I use papaya enzymes sometimes to break down milk—I have trouble with it once in a while. Papain and bromelain are great for your stomach, if you're good with papaya and pineapple. I can't do a wide array of foods either and it actually gets depressing sometimes.
