No Crossfit! Cue sad panda face. Did a modified body-weight workout and my tricep pushups are getting better, so there's that. Lots of running, huzzah.

Also for some reason, have been getting epic cramps this month. Those of you who possess organs of the menstrual-ly type: how the hell do you deal with bad cramps that actually physically incapacitate you other than downing half a bottle of Advil? I'm sick of keeling over in the middle of a workout if I don't take painkillers in time.

When my cramps were really vicious, mefenamic acid used to be the only thing that worked.

Since I exited my teens and things improved: ginger tea, abdominal massage, switching to a menstrual cup (some people find they improve cramps a lot, for unknown reasons; a few people find they worsen them), and some specific yoga stretches (chiefly baddha konasana, cobra, danurasana, and quadricep stretches) have all seemed helpful, though it's obviously hard to identify causality when I've simultaneously been getting older and my body's been settling down.

I have a headful of pieces of random information. Occasionally one of them is useful. *g*
