Plank party!!!
Yesterday, I stumbled across this fun little thing:
The 5-Minute Plank
It's actually 20 different plank variations held for 15 seconds each, and it's kind of awesome.
It's much less strenuous than trying to hold a single variation for that long, so it's not as appalling as it sounds; it's also scalable (so you can do each variation for 5 seconds or 10 seconds or whatever's feasible for you.).
ETA: I rec muting the video, which has an annoying little music loop repeating endlessly, and playing your own music of choice. Much more entertaining.

I'm familiar with this problem -- not that I can do planks for very long, but my attention span is very short ...
My best solution so far has been to plonk my laptop on the floor in front of me and watch something interesting. This also helps stop me from clockwatching obsessively.
