In short, I'm 4 cycles into it, and I love it.
This is the third time I've started this particular workout, and I never made it past week 5 the other two times. It wasn't that I got bored. I misread the instructions, and I was doing it wrong.
You are supposed to do the prescribed lifts for the day, as well as a set of assistance exercises. This can be the Big But Boring (the same lift, at half max, 5x10 sets), two types of assistance lifts, or a ton of body weight work - your choice. I thought I was supposed to do the BBB AND assistance lifts. Oops. No wonder I couldn't drag my ass to the garage to lift, it took over an hour per workout and I couldn't finish a workout, ever!
I will say that I have gotten much stronger, I feel great, and for the first time since I was a newbie lifter (four years ago), I've seen serious improvements in my lifts. I'm thrilled and totally hooked. I love looking at my sheet and having my goals pre-mapped for me; it keeps me from getting stagnant or succumbing to a case of "I can't do this!"
