*falls over*

A little internet wormhole led me here. I know my cardio isn't what it could be because a) it's boring and b) it's time-consuming, so I was excited to find another fast but intense workout, something less annoying than trying to run Tabata intervals on a treadmill (it's 95 degrees here, I'm not doing that outside). I couldn't get to the gym until 8:00 tonight and by then I'd forgotten exactly what I was supposed to do, so I ended up with only five burpees in each set rather than ten. Believe me, this was plenty. I was ready to expire after three sets, but I did finish five (with insufficient burpees). I knew that wasn't enough even though all I wanted to do was lie on the mat and die, so I rowed for ten minutes and did grapevines on the treadmill for a few more minutes.

I didn't love it one bit, but it occurred to me that during the winter when I don't have time to go to the gym, like on music rehearsal nights, I could bang this routine out in my basement, eat a quick dinner, have a fast shower and still get out the door on time. I already feel it in my back and my legs. So, love it or not, it's going into my bag of tricks.
