one more question (I won't call it a 'final' question because it seems I have an endless supply of them XD) I just found a set of dumbbells in the basement, that used to be my grandparents, that I didn't realize that we had. They're the adjustable kind. Right now they have 2.5 lb plates on them, for a total of 5 lbs per dumbbell. But I weighed them, and total, including the bar and everything, they're 8 lbs. This feels like a stupid question but, when I use them, this means they count as 8 lb weights, right?
(I also found my little sister's old 5 lb weights in the basement. I am on a roll today with surprise free new equipment just when I need it *g*)
Oh oh, I thought of another question! (Me, the font of endless questions X3) if I should be aiming for 8-12 reps, how many sets should I be aiming for?
Also any advice for "I pushed myself really hard yesterday and today my quads are killing me"?
