Hmm, this is weirdly helpful

Before when I used to work out, I would aim for 3x/week, or every other day, and I'd usually make it, but it would often be kind of a slog. Now I'm kept to 2x/week in order to stay in synch with my partner and (if she were working out, which she is not, but she will be again soon) sister.

It's not a slog. I want MOAR WORKOUTS. It's not at all hard to get myself to do the workout.

Sometimes I would work out when I shouldn't because it was hard to tell the difference between "don't wanna" and "actually sick." I'm pretty sure that now, if I didn't wanna work out, that would mean something was actually wrong, because I always want to work out. (It's Friday. You mean I have to wait till tomorrow? And then wait again till Wednesday?)

I used to think that "work out as much as you can/want to (without overtraining)" was a good plan. But rationing the workouts seems to help. Who knew?

(This doesn't mean I'm inactive on the off days. Just not lifting.)
