I continued doing 2 sets of 8 reps each of my various machines and free weight exercises (I'd been doing 10 reps, and I'm not sure why that started to overtire my body, but it did, so I adjusted downward) but added back in 2 machines I'd taken out (due to just not having the energy -- around the same time I'd moved from 10 reps to 8), which felt good.
